When my flagship Mammotion mower was crippled by a poorly-written firmware update within the first week of ownership, I went to Reddit in desperation. I have a .8 acre yard with all of the elements that typically challenge robot mowers —steep slopes, uneven terrain, roots, drop offs, you name it, I got it— so I wanted a mower with a solid track record that I wouldn’t have to worry about sourcing parts for. That’s where I ran into Brady, who recommended Kress, and I could not be happier with my decision. This machine has handled everything I got and then some. I even abused it with an overgrown, wet, first cut, and it handled no problem (though I wouldn’t recommend it).
If all that wasn’t good enough, the service I’ve gotten has truly been above and beyond. Brady has helped me every step of the way, helping me set up the mapping cart, map my yard and no-go zones, and even answering my endless litany of questions. When I asked about cutting different patterns for my lawn, he even modified my map for me, splitting up my zones so that I could have a nice decorative cut in the front where it matters the most. Now I’m sitting on my couch typing up this review, and my Kress is dutifully trimming my lawn, so that when I wake up, it will be perfect.
Can’t recommend this product (or this company) enough.
