FAQ

How does the "4x4" system actually help on a lawn?

Unlike standard robotic mowers that only have two drive wheels, the Kress 280 series has four independent motors (one for each wheel). This provides extreme traction on steep hills up to 80% (39.5°) and prevents the mower from sliding or "spinning out" on wet, slippery grass. It’s like the difference between a city car and an off-road SUV.

What happens when the battery runs low?

The mower automatically returns to its charging station, using its saved GPS route. Once fully charged, it resumes mowing exactly where it left off.

How long does setup take?

Most properties can be set up in under a few hours, depending on size and complexity. No trenching or boundary wire installation is required. Initial calibration and mapping is done via the onboard system or app.

My yard has lots of trees. Will it lose its satellite signal?

This is where the EyePilot™ Vision AI comes in. Most robotic mowers stop working if they lose GPS signal under trees. The Kress 280 series uses 3D Stereo Cameras to "see" the lawn. If the satellite signal is blocked by heavy foliage or tall buildings, the mower switches to "Vision Mode" to continue mowing accurately without stopping.
