This hardware unit houses the GX-1A, GX-1F sensors securely, protecting it from damage while allowing repeated soil moisture / salinity / temperature sampling down the root profile between 2" and 8" depth without disturbing the sensor. It also comes pre-mapped with survey-grade GPS data that can be shared to irrigation or analytics systems.

With the SmartWell, you can take multiple depth samples over time with minimal disruption. It enables data sharing with third-party systems (via API or export), and avoids the need for excavation each time you want a sample from different layers.
